Wood Seasoning
The drying of wood is the first and conceivably most important process in downstream manufacturing. If the manufacturer does not have sufficient properly dried wood, one will not be in position to manufacture quality wood products. Wood, in its natural state, always contains of large amount of water. The amount of water in a piece of wood is known as its moisture content. soggy wood is unstable, will not maintain its original size no matter how accurately machined, will not sand well, will not glue well and can not be finished correctly. Some other reward of drying wood are to reduce freight charges, to minimize fungal and insect harass, and to increase the strength of the wood. Timber with high moisture content should not be used as it is for construction. The desired drop of moisture content is possible only in the seasoning kiln.

Advantages of Kiln seasoning timber are as follows:
It is light in weight and is stronger. The joining of the wood is then perfect. Finish will be smooth and fine. It is difficult for termites to attack dry timber. The absorption of preservatives chemicals will be easier in dry timber. Pai
